This Week’s Pure Nebraska show highlights the state’s number one industry, agriculture. We also celebrate the state by showing you great places to visit as 10/11 News Anchor Jon Vanderford and 10/11 Meteorologist Brad Anderson talk to some of the people that make Nebraska so unique.
Pure Nebraska will introduce you to a group of Nebraska women who are working to help consumers understand the connection between farmers and the food consumers buy at the grocery store. It’s all part of a unique program called “Common Ground”. We’ll learn more about it and its volunteers.
In this week’s Our Town segment, we head to Wilber, home of Czech Days. The annual event gets underway Thursday. We’ll take a look at the celebration and why it’s so important to the town of Wilber.
And Brad Anderson gets dirty in the kitchen. He shows us how to make homemade Kolaches, a popular Czech breakfast pastry that holds a dollop of fruit and is rimmed by a puffy pillow of dough.
You can watch it all on this week’s Pure Nebraska!
