On this week’s episode of Star City Buzz, we take a tour of a Lincoln staple that was built in 1904. The Grand Manse is located at 129 North 10th Street in Lincoln. Art and Soul has revamped their interior to include a new art gallery and their first show features some prominent photographers and their work with local plains Indians. The exhibit runs through March 21st. Art and Soul is located at 5740 Hidcote Drive in Lincoln. The gallery is open from 10AM to 6PM Tuesday through Thursday, from 10AM to 5PM on Friday and Saturday, and is closed on Sunday and Monday. Watch the video for a preview of the show.
It’s Fabulous Bread and Soup Month on Star City Buzz and for our final stop, we take a trip to The Eatery. The Eatery is located at 2548 South 48th Street in Lincoln. It’s a locally owned venue that serves everything from pizza to burgers and of course homemade soup. There's chicken noodle, chili, and broccoli cheese. This week, Schmoes Know reviews the movie Snitch. It stars The Rock and is about a young man who gets caught with drugs. The 3rd Annual Arts and Music Extravaganza is Friday March 1st at the Bourbon Theatre in Lincoln. The event will feature performances by UNL’s Bathtub Dogs, the EDGE Dance Academy and many more. Their a local band with their debut album Good Morning Beginning already released on iTunes. Earth to Abram plays rock music with a message. They want their listeners to see the bigger picture.
