On this week’s episode of Star City Buzz, we take a tour of the Lied Center of Performing Arts. The venue is named after Ernest Lied. It opened in 1991 and brings in multiple celebrities and productions each year. Check out the video and get a behind the scenes look at the Lied Center."

Also, we take you behind the curtain of the smash musical, Anything Goes. The Tony award winning play, created in the 1930's centers around Billy and Hope as Billy tries to woo Hope away from her fiance. The setting: a ship. The production has singing, dancing, and laughter. Watch the video as we catch up with the actors and director Morrie Enders. You can catch the play at the Lincoln Community Playhouse at 2500 South 56th Street Show times include May 11th-20th at various showtimes.

Plus, our movie critic, Bonney Bowman, gives you a review of the movie Five Year Engagement. The recent release is a comedy starring Jason Segel that follows a couple through the trials and tribulations of their relationship. Bonney also reviews 21 Jump Street starring Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum. The comedy follows two young cops as they go under cover at a local high school to bust a drug ring. Finally, up and coming artist Evan Scott who founded the Evan Scott Band talked with us about his sound, career goals, and how he got into music.
