Winter Storm Drops 7 Inches of Snow in SE Nebraska

Most of Nebraska avoided snow this weekend, but the southeast corner of the state received as much as 7 inches of snow.

The deepest snow was reported in Pawnee City, but 4 to 8 inches of snow was common across far southeast Nebraska.

Nearly 7 inches of snow fell near Rulo and about 6 inches of snow fell in Auburn and Humboldt.

Only about an inch of snow fell in Omaha, while Lincoln saw even less. The airport reporter .20 inches of snow.

At midnight, Lincoln Public Works crews started salting and sanding major roads and snow routes in Lincoln to make sure the roads weren't slick.
