A woman is hospitalized after her own car runs her over.

It happened just after five Friday morning when the 55-year-old woman was delivering newspapers in Waverly.

Deputies are still investigating just how the woman ended up under her car.

They were called to the scene on the report of a woman screaming in the street.

She was taken to a Lincoln hospital with a dislocated leg.
