Lincoln Police arrested 27-year-old transient, Jeremy Talbot for burglary Friday afternoon.
Around 12:20 p.m. police received a call from the owner of an apartment complex on 126 South 28th Street that several people were in a vacant unit.
When police arrived, they found a broken door lock and four people in the apartment. The knife, milk carton, and credit cards that were reported missing were found from the burglary at 303 South 28th street, where a 60-year-old Lincoln woman woke up to find Talbot in her kitchen.
Officers said the woman reported hearing a noise in the kitchen and thought her husband was getting something to eat. After getting up to see what was going on, she saw Talbot going through her refrigerator.
Talbot was arrested for burglary and trespassing.
Police also arrested three other people, also transients for trespassing: 37-year-old Benjamin Joyce, 40-year-old Vitaliy Demyanovskiy, and 41-year old Cassandra Pavey.
