Lincoln, NE-- Work is scheduled to begin on US-34 east of Lincoln beginning the week of March 31, according to the Nebraska Department of Roads.
The nearly 11-mile highway improvement project is located just east of 84th Street to east of the junction of N-63.
Constructors, Inc. of Lincoln, Nebraska, has the $6,509,450 project for new turn lanes, culvert repair, asphalt milling, concrete
pavement repair and asphalt overlay.
The project also includes bridge deck maintenance and guardrail work on Reference Post 332.5.

As part of the construction, the intersections of 112th Street, 162nd Street and 202nd Street will be closed for short periods of time.
The remainder of the project will be constructed under traffic with the use of flaggers and a pilot vehicle.
The highway improvement project is scheduled to be completed in early November of 2014.
