Program leaders encourage everyone from beginners to experienced "yogis" to come out and enjoy mother nature.
PLAY Lincoln began last year when student teachers had to fulfill a community teaching requirement to get their teacher certification.
Now, coordinators hope to build a community through the ancient art form.
Lower-than-average temperatures and a little rain didn't stop enthusiasts from coming out for to Sunday's class.
The series is almost over, but local residents still have a few chances to join in on the fun. PLAY dates area Sept. 22 and 29 from 10 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.
A yoga mat or towel and comfortable clothing are recommended for PLAY participants.
Classes are weather-permitting and announcement are made via the group's Facebook page.
They are free and all ages are welcome.
