The man who shot at a York County deputy earlier this month and was shot twice in return has been charged.
Max McCall, 26, of York has been released from the hospital and formally charged on six felony counts. Charges include attempted first degree assault on an officer and terroristic threats.
McCall was involved in a short pursuit on August 11 after a deputy responded to a domestic disturbance report. McCall was taken to a Lincoln hospital following the shooting. The Nebraska State Patrol took over the investigation.
