Zombies Invade Downtown Lincoln

Zombies have taken over downtown Lincoln!
But no, it's not time to head for the hills. It's Zombie Fest 2012.
The annual event started in Lincoln six years ago with only a few hundred zombies.
Now around 3,000 are expected to take part.
There's a zombie market, with items to help you either transform into a zombie or stay alive during an attack.
There are also mock battles between zombies and humans and panels to discuss zombie-lore.
It all culminates in a zombie walk as the undead take over downtown.
The festival started Friday night with a parade of costume's and the human's last party.
It wraps up Saturday with the actual zombie walk and a zombie street party.
