Area Teen Will Stand Trial for Vehicle Homicide

A judge ruled Monday that 17 year-old Matthew Robinson of Gretna will be tried for 2 counts of felony motor vehicle homicide.

Officials say he was the driver of a car that crashed December 28th in Sarpy county that killed his 17 year-old passengers Jacob Hurd and Kyle Lavigne of Gretna.

Investigators claim Robinson was driving at more that 100 miles per hour.

Robinson's Lawyer says the three teens were being chased at the time of the crash.
