Lexington Fire

Three people managed to escape from a burning apartment building in downtown Lexington early yesterday morning.
Authorities say the fire broke in the second floor of the Cup and Chaucer was reported at three a-m.
Three apartments are located on that floor, but the three people living in them got out O-K.
It took firefighters about an hour to contain the fire, which engulfed the second floor.
One firefighter suffered injuries when hot water got inside his jacket.
