One of the beauties of Make-A-Wish is that the wish options are almost limitless. But Angelica Lemburg didn't have to spend much time deliberating her decision...it was simple. She wanted to meet Miley Cyrus.
And in mid-January, Make-A-Wish made an 11-year-old girls dream come true. Angelica says, "I was really, really, really looking forward to seeing her and I could not sleep the night before cause I knew when I wake up that I'd be able to meet her."
And the bonus of the whole deal was that Angelica was going to have her best friend there with her to share in the experience. Angelica, "It was really cool cause me and Kimmy we do everything together so we just asked if she could come and they said she could and it just made me so happy cause then she got to come and I told her and she was just crying and so happy and thanking me when I told her."
Kimmy Montoya was thrilled to be there in Los Angeles with her fellow fifth grader, "I was just so happy and I was really glad to have a friend like Angelica, not just because of the wish, because she was a wonderful friend."
Angelica's mom Willa joined the girls in L.A. and she she got to take it all in when her daughter and Kimmy finally meet Miley, "I'm just telling you I had a vantage point where I could see both girls as Miley came out of her dressing room and their mouths just dropped and their eyes lit up and they were just so excited. It was just my wish come true for them."
Willa Lemburg says that her daughter was born with cystic fibrosis and life hasn't been all that easy for Angelica but she's proud of her always positive spirit, "She's just been a wonderful part of our lives. We love her and she's just a joy to have around."
The magical meeting is now over with, but the memories are sure to last a lifetime. Angelica says, "I just love Make-A-Wish now, I'll do anything for them and just help them out for anything they need like this. Because it just made me so happy that they could do that all for me and it just makes me so happy that they do that for other kids also."

Anonymous, since when does a Lincoln station only report on Lincoln stories? This is a "feel good" story of a little girl who is very sick and had one of her dreams come true. You sound like an insensitve jerk!
