Everyone has challenges that they need to face in their lives. It's just that some people approach those challenges in a more fearless manner than others.
One of those pleasantly positive people is the focus of this edition of Lance's Journal.
When she was born in 1993, doctors gave her 6 months to live.
Now, 18 years later, Hannah Wright is alive and well and still bravely overcoming all obstacles that stand in her way.
At 3 foot 2, she's short in stature but tall in talent. From dancing, to acting, to singing, there's not a lot of down time for Hannah at Neligh-Oakdale High School, "I'm organized and I have the passion to do it, I have the drive to do it. It keeps you going."
True to form, Hannah is already looking well into the future. In fact, even at 18, she's got the next 12 years of her life all planned out.
She's been accepted to both Nebraska Wesleyan and Creighton. And after college she wants to become a pediatric oncologist and someday find the cure for cancer.
