The Barbour mice aren't forced to live in the living room alone, mice can be found in the bedroom, in the kitchen and even in the bathroom, there's just no avoiding these rambunctious rodents. Donna says, "I don't know, I just find them kind of adorable."
But just to be clear, Donna prefers the non-breathing variety, "Not the real thing if they're in my house."
Tom gave Donna a mouse while they were dating 36 years ago and they've been collecting ever since, "It's been fun because we'll go shopping or something and happen to see Christmas mice and she'll say, "I don't know if I should get that or not,' and I'll go yea, you should."
And she does, from ear rings to watches, there are now more than 300 mice in the collection.
The Barbour's say their favorite part of owning a mouse collection is sharing the furry little fellows with their five grand kids who will soon arriving in Fullerton to see the 7 new additions to the Barbour mice family on Christmas day.
