The Hastings College Football Team may have seen their playoff hopes disappear after losing to Doane College 48-16 on Saturday.

The Tigers used a very balanced offense rushing for 236 yards and throwing for 244. Doane also took a punt return back for a touchdown late in the fourth quarter. QB Jeff Weander gave the Broncos fits as he threw for four touchdowns and 183 yards on the day.

John Dostal went 18-44 for 247 yards and two touchdowns. The Broncos had trouble getting the running game going as they only rushed for 62 yards.

WR Trevor Bohn led the way for the Broncos hauling in four passes for 104 yards.

If the Broncos want any chance at the playoffs they will need to win their final two games and that begins with Northwestern at home Saturday November 3 with kickoff set for 1 p.m.
