The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following women’s basketball player of the week for November 15 -November 21, 2010. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2010-2011 GPAC Players of the Week and Players and Coaches of the Year awards program.

Morningside guard Chelsie Trask is the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women’s Basketball Player of the Week. Trask, a sophomore from Rockford, Iowa, averaged 18 points per game as the Mustangs went 2-0 with wins over two NAIA Top-25 teams. In a league opening win over #11 Concordia on the road, 89-74, she netted 26 points while setting a school record by going 14-14 at the free throw line. For the week she made 18-18 of free throws and 6-11 three pointers. Morningisde is 6-0 on the season and ranked 5th in the country.
