The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) announced their all-conference selections for volleyball on Wednesday. Among the selections were several Midland University athletes.
Megan Farley, a freshman setter from Syracuse, Neb., earned GPAC First Team All-Conference honors. Katie Dettmer, a junior right side from Syracuse, Neb., also achieved GPAC First Team All-Conference status.
GPAC Second Team All-Conference earners were Halie Wewel, a senior middle blocker from Fremont, Neb., and Ashley Wheeler, a freshman outside hitter from Auburn, Neb.
GPAC Honorable Mention went to Becca Gradoville (L).
The Warriors finished the season 21-11 overall and 11-5 in the GPAC, making it to the semifinal round of the GPAC Postseason Tournament. Midland University’s 11 GPAC wins is the most in the programs history since joining the conference.
