The Nebraska School Activities Association has announced four finalists for executive director.
They are Rhonda Blanford-Green, Deb Frison, William Watson and Craig Whaley.
Blanford-Green is a former track and field All-American at Nebraska who has been associate commissioner of the Colorado High School Activities Association for 16 years.
Frison is principal at Burke High School in Omaha.
Watson is activities director for the Urbandale, Iowa, Community School District.
Whaley is district activities director for the Millard Public Schools in Omaha.
The finalists will be interviewed next month in Lincoln.
The NSAA governs high school sports and other extracurricular activities and has been without a permanent executive director since Jim Tenopir left in April 2010.
