The Nebraska Wesleyan University football team will complete the 2010
season this Saturday (Nov. 13) when they travel to Hastings, Neb., to face the Hastings College Broncos in a Great Plains Athletic Conference football contest.
Kickoff between the Prairie Wolves and the Broncos is set for 1 p.m., at Lloyd Wilson Field in Hastings, Neb. The game can be heard live locally on KFOR 1240 AM or online at kfor1240.com with veteran broadcaster Dick Janda calling the action. NWU (4-5, 4-5 GPAC) had their three-game winning streak snapped last Saturday with a 14-6 loss to 20th-ranked Midland University on Senior Day at Abel Stadium. Nebraska Wesleyan held the Warriors scoreless in the second half, but the offense could not find the end zone. The Prairie Wolves will be aiming to finish the season with a .500 record with a victory
on Saturday.
Hastings (4-5, 4-5) ended their three-game losing streak last Saturday
with a 43-21 victory over Doane College at home in Hastings. The Broncos were ranked in five of the first six NAIA Top 25 polls before suffering the three-game losing streak. The Broncos will also be aiming to end their season with a .500 record.
