The Nebraska Wesleyan men’s basketball team is set for their 10-day overseas trip to Estonia. The Prairie Wolves leave for Estonia on Wednesday, Aug. 10 and return home on Saturday the 20th.
While in Estonia the Prairie Wolves will play three games against club teams. They play Rakvere Tarvas on Aug. 15, take on Tartu Rock on Aug. 16 and close thetrip against BC Parna on Aug. 19. In addition to the three games and several practices the Prairie Wolves will gain in Estonia, NWU also practiced 10 dates during the summer.
“We’re really excited to have a chance to travel abroad with our team this summer,” Nebraska Wesleyan coach CamSchuknecht said. “We hope this trip serves as a team-building opportunity, while giving our team some chances to have new cultural experiences.”
A total of 16 players will be making the trip to Estonia. Players that are traveling will be: Seniors - Bryce Arp (Gretna, Neb.), Spencer Choquette (Upland, Neb.), Nick Dinan (Omaha, Neb.), Mitch Liberty (Falls City, Neb.), Andy Schweitzer (Bedford, Iowa); Juniors – Sass Karemae (Tallin, Estonia), Anthony Michael (Albion, Neb.), Brett Potter (Omaha, Neb.); Sophomores – Tommie Bardsley (Beatrice, Neb.), Jonah Bradley (Norfolk, Neb.), Adam Heimes (Springfield, Neb.) Eric Jackson (Lincoln, Neb.), Trevor Johnson (Lincoln, Neb.), Andrew Mitteis (Plattsmouth, Neb.), Trent Scheitel(Falls City, Neb.), Tim Schweitzer (Bedford, Iowa).
