The state says it added 211 new contracts this year for public access to private Nebraska land for hunting and fishing.
The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission says the Open Fields and Waters program has nearly 770 contracts covering more than 271,000 acres of land, 480 acres of private ponds and lakes and 60 miles of stream.
