The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission says plenty of permits remain for the November firearm deer season.
The season opens Saturday and runs through Nov. 20.
The commission says a firearm permit holder may use archery equipment. And this year, archery permit holders also may hunt during the November firearm season.
The commission says hunters must deliver their deer carcasses to check stations.
The Earn-a-Buck season, which runs through Nov. 22, has been expanded to the Missouri, Blue Northwest and Blue Southeast
management units, in addition to the Elkhorn and Wahoo units.
Under the Earn-a-Buck rules, hunters are required to check in antlerless deer either before or at the same time they turn in bucks.
