Organizers of the 2013 Senior Open are beginning to recruit volunteers to help run the tournament at the Omaha Country Club.

More than 3,000 volunteers will be needed for the U.S. Golf Association event that runs from July 8 to 14 in 2013.

Organizers say volunteers will be required to pay $125 for a package of two golf shirts, a windbreaker, baseball cap, water bottle and credential.

They'll also be expected to work 16 to 20 hours during the tournament, but volunteers will receive complimentary food when they work.
