Lincoln, Neb. - Kevin Roy may be quiet off the ice, but he's making plenty of noise on it.
Roy has tallied 49 goals in his first season with the Lincoln Stars, breaking the organization's single-season scoring record in the process. His 96 total points are 15 more than the 2nd highest total in the USHL during regular season play.
The 18-year-old has scored in nine of Lincoln's last 10 games, and has led the Stars to within a point of rival Omaha in the Western Conference standings.
Roy is committed to play at Brown University next season; he turned down interest from Harvard, Princeton, and Yale.
Roy and the Stars return to action on Friday when they play host to the Tri-City Storm.
