After being down 3-1 to Waterloo, the Lincoln Stars score three straight goals to win the game 4-3 and even the best of five series at 1-1.
Waterloo's Aaron Pierce scored first to put the Blackhawks up 1-0, and then Luke Johnson scored for Lincoln to tie the game at 1-1. Jamie Hill scored the final goal of the first period giving Waterloo a 2-1 lead.
Taylor Cammarata got the scoring started for Waterloo, extending the Blackhawks lead to 3-1. The Stars cut into the lead when Tommy Schutt scored to make the score 3-2 in favor of Waterloo heading to the third period.
The third period belonged to Lincoln as Kevin Roy scored his 59th goal of the season tying the game at 3-3. Dominic Shine scored the final goal for the Stars, proving to be the game winner.
Game 3 is set for Saturday at 7:05 p.m. in Waterloo.
