TD Ameritrade Chairman Joe Moglia is getting a chance in the United Football League to revive his coaching career and learn how well his corporate management skills translate to football.
The UFL announced Wednesday that Moglia will coach the league's new Virginia team next fall.
Moglia coached football for 16 years and served as Dartmouth College's defensive coordinator before joining the business world. He worked his way up to the top of Ameritrade before retiring from the CEO job in 2008.
Moglia has spent the past two seasons volunteering with the University of Nebraska and learning from the football coaches.
The UFL is a league for players who might have been cut in NFL training camps and veterans who want to return to the NFL.
