According to the Beatrice Communications Center, two people are injured following an explosion at the Koch Nitrogen Plant in Beatrice.
The explosion happened just before 5 a.m.
Officials said one contractor has serious injuries and was taken to a Lincoln hospital and another contractor has minor injuries and was taken to a Beatrice hospital.
The explosion did not start a fire.
