Police are investigating a church burglary in Lincoln.
Officer Katie Flood says someone broke into First Christian Church on 430 South 16th Street sometime between 9 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. Monday.
Police say an employee found the building ransacked Monday morning.
Flood says the suspect pried open an exit door and an interior door, taking a small amount of cash. But most devastating damage was done to a priceless piece of history inside.
"Also damaged was a stained glass window estimated to be 100 years old. The scene was processed for fingerprints and DNA but there are no suspects at this time," said Flood.
Police say anyone with information should call Crimestoppers at (402) 475- 3600.
