Update: Missing Boy with Autism Found Nearly 5 Miles Away

Authorities say a child with special needs has been located.

Lincoln Police Captain Michon Morrow said an 11-year-old boy with autism, went missing sometime after 8:30 p.m. Sunday, from the area of 30th and Randolph.

According to Morrow, Jackson Schrivner was found around 11:45 p.m. about five miles from home near HyVee at 70th and Pioneers. Schrivner was carrying a stuffed lion.

Captain Morrow said the people who found him knew he was missing from watching the news.
