The Thunder on the Loup Airboat races draw hundreds to the Loup River each year.
But this weekend the fun stopped when two people were injured in separate boating accidents.
Nance County Chief Deputy Mark Monroe said last night, something went wrong with 53-year-old Lou Ann Dooley's boat.
The boat zoomed up on the shore and hit her best friend, 46-year-old Jill Mueller from Valley.
Monroe says Mueller has a hair-line fracture on her pelvis.
Officials say during the rush to help Mueller, another person was hit by a boat.
An airboat driver helping the Palmer Rescue Squad bring equipment across the river hit some gravel near a boat ramp and then clipped a spectator on a lawn chair.
That victim 70-year-old Robert Peared from Phillips -- was taken to an emergency room with a bruised arm.
Monroe says it was all a big accident and no citations have been issued.
