A 6-year-old girl has died in Omaha after being pulled from the bottom of a swimming pool at an apartment complex.

Omaha police identify her as Teriyana Erwin-Morrison, of Omaha.

A woman tried to save the child when she was found in the pool around 7:30
p.m. Sunday.

The woman pulled the child out of the water at The Reserve Apartments. It's not clear how long the girl had been under water.

Omaha police say she was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

They are investigating the incident.
