The Omaha School Board is expected to consider the future of its president.
The board may vote on a motion to oust Freddie Gray from the top spot during Monday night's meeting. Gray is under fire over the Nancy Sebring case.
The board hired Sebring, the superintendent of the Des Moines, Iowa, school board, in April to replace John Mackiel, who's retiring. Sebring abruptly left her Iowa job in May. She lost the Omaha job after emails to a lover on her district computer became public.
At issue is whether board members think Gray acted appropriately by withholding information about Sebring' resignation in Iowa.
Board officers are elected by majority vote and serve for a year. Gray took over the president's post in January.
