A Lincoln police officer tazed a man who was threatening another person with a hammer.
It happened around 12:30 Saturday morning near 16th and "D" street in Lincoln.
Lincoln police responded to reports of a man knocking on the victim's door, holding a hammer and demanding money.
When officers arrived, they told 42 year old John Miller to drop his hammer, but he refused.
Officers then deployed a tazer to take him into custody.
Miller was arrested and has been charged with making terroristic threats which is a felony, use of a weapon to commit a felony, and failure to comply with an officer.
