Man in Hospital With Multiple Gunshot Wounds, Police Searching for Suspect

Lincoln police are investigating an early morning shooting in North Lincoln.
Captain Jason Stille said, just after 2:00 a.m. Saturday, officers were called to the 3400 block of Portia after multiple reports involving shots fired in the area. More reports came in saying someone had been shot.
Details are still being investigated but police have confirmed a 21-year-old Lincoln man was transported to Bryan LGH Medical Center West with multiple gunshot wounds. Stille says one bullet hit the victim's back and another one entered his leg.
Stille said police are holding the scene in hopes of finding more evidence during daylight.
The only description for the suspect is a black man in his 20's with a white t-shirt.
Stille says police are continuing to interview witnesses for information about the shooting.
