It's all part of Toyoya's 100 Cars for Good program. For 100 consecutive days Toyota will give away 100 cars to non-profit organizations.
Five finalists daily will compete with an on-line voting contest. Today is the Nebraska Safety Council's opportunity to win. It is paired with four other non-profits who will compete from 10 a.m. until 11 p.m.
Voters can go to nesafetycouncil.org to vote. Look for the "100 Cars" button and follow the directions.
"Everyone at the Nebraska Safety Council is thrilled to have been selected as a finalist for the 2012 100 Cars for Good program," said Laurie Klosterboer, executive director of Nebraska Safety Council. "We're grateful for this incredible opportunity to hopefully win a car to help us increase our impact in Lincoln. We hope everyone will help us spread the word now and, of course, will make time to visit"
The car will be used for the Safety Council's teen driving program.
The Nebraska Safety Council is the only Nebraska non-profit organization to have been named a finalist.
