Ice Age Data Bolsters Greenhouse Gas, Warming Link
Posted: 6:54 AM Apr 5, 2012
Reporter: Associated Press

Scientists say that further strengthens the scientific case explaining current man-made global warming.

The study in Wednesday's journal Nature compared global temperatures -- based on mud and ice data -- to carbon dioxide levels.

Researchers found that 17,000 years ago when the ice age was ending, there was a noticeable link between greenhouse gas and temperature increases. The gas jumped first and then temperatures followed in a similar curve when put on a graph.
