Lightning Strikes House Causes Fire - Owen Jensen Reports

Lightning hit with a boom and a spark early Friday evening at a Lincoln home at 1425 Meadow Lark Court.

As storms moved across the area the next thing the homeowner knew were fire trucks lining the streets up and down the quiet residential area on the city's Northwest side.

The woman who lives in the home was unharmed.

The lightning damaged only the roof of the home.
