Lincoln Police are looking for the suspect in an armed robbery.

Authorities say a customer was assaulted during robbery.

Lincoln Police Captain Jason Stille says it happened around 10:40 p.m. Wednesday at A's Stop and Shop at 1301 North 27th Street.

Police say an unknown black male wearing a ski mask entered the store with a shotgun demanding money.

Captain Stille says the suspect struck a customer in the face during the robbery.

The 45-year-old victim was transported to the hospital with a facial laceration and a nasal fracture.

Police say the suspect then left on foot, traveling westbound.

Captain Stille says a K-9 team was called in, but was unable to locate the suspect.
