Miraculous Recovery for Lincoln Man- Laura Berry Reports

In October, Rod Krogh was involved in a near-fatal car crash. Krogh suffered a traumatic brain injury had doctors and family members wondering if he would ever be back to his former self.

On Christmas Eve, Krogh was able to leave Madonna Rehabilitation Center. The Krogh family called it a miracle. But doctors still weren't certain that Krogh would recover completely.

Now, he's back to work as a Senior Legislative Aide for Senator Bob Krist and he's celebrating Father's Day with his wife and son. Krogh credits God, his family, co-workers and church for his ability to return to a normal life.

Krogh's wife Dawn says Caring Bridge was also instrumental in helping her husband get his life back. Krogh's page on the Caring Bridge website has had more than ninety thousand hits.

For Father's Day, the Krogh family spent time playing Angry Birds. Krogh's four year-old son David says he admires his dad's willingness to play board games and read stories to him.

Dawn adds that her husband's role as a father has helped Rod become his old self. She also thanks the numerous emergency workers and doctors who have made Rod's recovery possible.
