A Lincoln man is in jail after he is caught on video surveillance breaking into a pizza shop.

Police say Yai Yai's Pizza reported five burglaries at their building since June 13th.

They say the burglar pried on the door and got inside three of the five times, stealing cash those three times.

Police say the owner decided to set up a camera and on June 25th. He captured video of a white man in his 40's, tall and thin, carrying a blue pry bar.

After showing the video to police, Officer Katie Flood says Brian Diekmann's name came up as a possible suspect.

She says Deikmann had been arrested for a similar burglary at Dilliger's bar in 2008.

Police contacted him at the Great Plain Motel Tuesday.

Flood says they found the same tan shirt and hat Diekmann was wearing in the video along with the blue pry bar.

He was arrested for five counts of burglary.

Diekmann had been released from prison on parole in June 2011. He had gotten off parole on June 13, 2012.
