Mother & Son Reunited After 23 Years- Nate Kramer reports

Michelle Ramsey found out she pregnant when she was just 18 years old. Michelle had little support from her family and soon realized she couldn't provide the kind of life she wanted for her child.

During her pregnancy, Michelle attended beauty school in Monticello, Iowa. She says a woman came to meet her while she was at school.

That woman would soon become her son's adopted grandmother.

Michelle says the woman told her about her daughter and son-in-law. The couple, who had been married for 20 years, were looking to adopt. Michelle soon moved in with couple, a teacher and her husband, a southern Baptist Minister.

Michelle stayed in touch with the couple until her son, Jared, was born. That's when Michelle made one of the hardest decisions of her life; She gave Jared up for adoption.

Michelle says she sent Jared a card every year on his birthday. It was 23 years later before she was able to meet him.

For Jared's 23rd birthday said he wanted to meet his biological mom and his brothers and sister.
