This Week’s Pure Nebraska show highlights the state’s number one industry, agriculture. We also celebrate the state by showing you great places to visit as 10/11 News Anchor Jon Vanderford and 10/11 Meteorologist Brad Anderson talk to some of the people that make Nebraska so unique.

Pure Nebraska introduces you to a program at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln that’s helping breathe new life into rural Nebraska. Find out how it’s encouraging young people to return to small communities to start their careers.

Plus, Brad Anderson tags along with the owner of Hunter’s Honey in Hickman. The bees were a little uneasy with Brad’s presence, but dressed head-to-toe in protective gear, Brad got right down to business. He shows us how local honey is produced and why it tastes so good.

And we head to Holdrege for Our Town, Nebraska. We’ll find out what the community has to offer its residents and visitors. The strong ag based community offers a little bit of everything.

It’s all on this Week’s Pure Nebraska.
