KEARNEY, Neb. – Tri-City Storm LW Trevor Moore is one of 22 players named to the U.S. Under-18 Select Team roster, which will compete at the 2012 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament in August.

USA Hockey made the roster announcement Tuesday, as the tournament will be Aug. 13-17 in Breclav, Czech Republic, and Piestany, Slovakia.

Moore, who is committed to Denver University, enters his second season with the Storm following a successful 16-year old rookie season with 32 points (12g, 20a) in 49 games. He added two assists in two playoff games against Waterloo.

The native of Thousand Oaks, Calif. also enters his first year of eligibility for the National Hockey League Entry Draft, which takes place June 2013 in New Jersey.

It will be the second consecutive summer that Moore will compete for the United States at the international level. Moore, with Storm prospect LW Dan Labosky, played for the U.S. Under-17 Select Team, who won the gold medal in Ann Arbor, Mich. last August.

The Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament includes Canada, Czech Republic, Finland, Russia, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland and the United States. Last summer, Storm RW Tim Lappin competed for the Under-18 Select Team, who finished fifth at the international tournament.
