BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) -- Indiana coach Kevin Wilson says three players including veteran receiver Kofi Hughes have been suspended for one game, another player was kicked off the team, two have left the program and one has not yet reported.

Hughes, cornerback Lawrence Barnett and safety Forisse Hardin were suspended for violating team rules. Wilson did not provide details or say when the suspensions would be served.

The Hoosiers say safety Shaquille Jefferson and receiver Logan Young left the program to "pursue other opportunities" and receiver Jay McCants was dismissed.

Freshman defensive end Adam Kranda has not yet reported to camp because of a personal matter and four players -- tight ends Paul Phillips and Jordan Jackson, running back Matt Perez and linebacker Ishmael Thomas -- are out with injuries.
