TULSA, Okla. (AP) -- Cody Green doesn't harbor any hard feelings about how his time at Nebraska came to an end.

After being the first freshman to start at quarterback since Tommie Frazier, Green couldn't hold onto the job and wound up transferring to Tulsa and sitting out last season.

Now, Green is getting ready to head back into Big 12 territory as the starting quarterback for the Golden Hurricane for the season opener Sept. 1 at Iowa State.

Green says he tries to live his life with no regrets and always tries to look for the positives. He's glad he got the experience of being the starting quarterback at Nebraska and believes it will help him now that he's getting the chance to lead a team again.
