Drew Ott's summer all-star tour continues.
The Giltner graduate will play in the 35th annual 8-man All-Star Game this weekend in Hastings, just two weeks after playing in the Shrine Bowl.
It will serve as one of the Nebraska Gatorade Player of the Year's last chances to play in the 8 man game before making the permanent switch to 11 man in the fall.
'I'm going to cherish it. I've always liked it more than 11-man. You can make more plays, more room to fill."
In between, Ott participated in the Central Nebraska All-Star Basketball game, but has made the transition back to shoulder pads.
"I have good preparation being in the Shrine Bowl. Its good to get live and start hitting people."
The Iowa signee will have one more contest to go following Saturday -- the Nebraska-Kansas 8-man classic.
