Send Tim Miles To Host Golf Tournament

Lincoln – Join new Nebraska basketball coach Tim Milles and his staff and former Huskers, as the Rebounders Club will host the Nebraska Basketball Golf Tournament on Thursday, Aug. 16, at the Country Club of Lincoln.

The event is open to all fans at a cost of $800 per team of four which includes golf, a continental breakfast, lunch on the course and heavy hors d’oeuvres following the tournament. The format for the day will be a four-man scramble with a shotgun start as a celebrity golfer will be added to each team for the round of golf. Registration begins at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start commencing at 9:30 a.m. In addition, individual hole sponsorship opportunities are also available for local companies.

The grand prize in the post tournament auction is a trip for two to the Lexus Champions for Charity National Champions Golf Tournament at Pebble Beach. This exclusive trip, provided by Lexus of Lincoln, includes airfare, hotel accommodations at The Inn at Spanish Bay, meals, carts, greens fees, airport transfers, and 54 holes of golf on some of the nation’s most impressive, most elite courses.
