Girls Rugby Team in CSGs

Lincoln - There will be a girls rugby competition at this year's Cornhusker State Games.

The Mustachers, a team made up of mostly the UNL Rugby Club, get a chance to compete after missing out on the games last year, due to the fact, that they were the only team to sign up.

The Mustachers will take on an Omaha-based squad in this year's games on July 21st.

The Games, are a tune-up for the UNL Squad as they prepare for their regular season, which starts in August.

Last year, the UNL Club team went 21-5, while qualifying for regionals, where they finished 3rd out of 23 teams, just missing the National Tournament.
