The United States Hockey League announced Monday the Week Nine – Players of the Week. Tri-City Storm Goalie Scott Diebold has been named USHL Reebok Goaltender of the Week.

Last weekend, Scott Diebold earned two wins for the Storm and improved his individual record to 4-2-2 this season. Diebold made 58 saves on 60 shots, posting a .967 save percentage and 0.96 goals-against average against Team USA – U17 and the Sioux Falls Stampede. Also, the rookie from Cheektowaga, NY, earned his second shutout of the season on Friday night leading the Storm to a 2-0 victory over the U17 National Team.

The Storm are home this Friday night against the Waterloo Black Hawks. The Storm are in the midst of six-game home stand and eight of the next 10 games at the Viaero Event Center.
